Installation Instructions

1. Clean the surface of the side windows with any cleaner such as soap and water, bug and tar remover, or alcohol. Dry the surface and make sure that it is completely dry before application. Make sure there is no lint or dust on the perimeter of the window glass.

2. Inspect the application surface of the louver to make sure that it is clean and dry.

3. Cut the provide 3M tape accordingly so that the tape will run the perimeter of the louver. *See Diagram. (Do not remove the red backing yet. Do not touch the adhesive side of the tape. Do not let the adhesive side make any contact with any foreign surface.) If adhesive surface has been compromised, please contact us.

4. When applying the tape to the louver, firmly press the tape in place on the louver; careful not to damage the paint on the other side when applying pressure.

5. Test fit the louver for positioning on the correct side of the Mustang.

6. Peel off the red backing of the 3M tape.

***A second person could be recommended for assistance in positioning the louver. The 3M tape is only meant for adhesion to the primary (initial) contact surface.

7. Apply the louver to the window; this is a very strong adhesive and is not meant for repositioning after making initial contact.

8. Firmly press the louver into place, making sure to push down on the entire perimeter so as the 3M adhesive is fully in contact with the window.

9. Repeat for other louver.

10. Do not drive the car within the next hour. Do not expose the louvers to water in the following 24 hours.
